It is possible to dive in Boracay any time of the year, although the optimum months are from January to June. Different types of diving - wreck diving, deep diving, cave diving, night diving - are offered by competing dive centres.

Dive sites in Boracay

There are around 20 dive centres on White Beach alone, with each of them offering dive packages, lessons and equipment hire. Boracay is a perfect spot for visitors to get started on scuba diving or to improve your skills.

There are about 25 to 30 sites accessible within a 10- to 15-minute ride on a speedboat coming from the beach. These dive sites are suitable for both beginner and advanced divers.

The dives span from Angol Point, which is 10m deep, up to Crocodile Island, which goes down to about 25m. There is also a straightforward wall dive and the Yapak deep wall dive that experienced divers can enjoy, which come complete with stingrays and sharks. Maniguin Island is another dive site where you can explore clear waters and different types of marine life.

Watercolors Diving Adventure: This popular dive centre has three branches on White Beach alone. It also offers boutique rooms, where you can stay during the duration of your diving trip to Boracay. White Blue Diving Service: Another alternative to consider is the White Blue Diving Service, which is another PADI-certified diving resort. The guides and instructors are PADI-certified and trained and courses are in English or Japanese. You will need to take PADI course if you want to really learn how to dive, or if you wish to hone your skills as a diver. Dive equipment in Boracay

When diving in Boracay, you won’t need to bring your own equipment as all dive centres provide the proper gear, including wet suits. They also have BCDs and a comprehensive line of diving accessories and equipment, like cameras, Nitrox tanks, and underwater scooters.
